Exciting news for script writers!: Festival of Reading of New Writing The Performing Arts network of Southern Africa (PANSA) is pleased to announce the return of the Festival of Reading of New Writing – the scriptwriting competition for new, emerging or experienced writers. The Port of Port Elizabeth has two brand new tugs - the Mvezo and the Qunu. Port of Port Elizabeth Port Captain, Brynn Adamson puts them through some of their paces in the video below - if you let your mind roam free you can almost see a beaming Madiba sidestepping and whirling along with the two tugs so closely connected to his memory: https://youtu.be/XQmmQRjhIhU The Mvezo and Qunu both measure 31m long and can boast of a 70 ton bollard pull, compared with the older tugs with a 32.5 to 40 ton pull.
