The 2020 Cannabis Energy Drink Motocross National will be hosted at Rover Raceway in Victoria Drive on 15th February 2020
The MX National is an iconic race and the first national of the 2020 series. The 1st of a 7 series championship will certainly have riders blasting out the gates from heat 1.
The Eastern Cape prides itself with multiple top riders across the classes who will battle it out with the best of the best in South Africa.
Rover Motocross is the unique sand track in South Africa and will be the highlight opening of the season.
Local riders to be on the lookout for are; 85cc – Liam Botha (sponsored by Automotorcycles); Kyle Townsend (sponsored by Cannabis Energy Drink & Automotorcycles ); Danyll Brunette (sponsored by The Rocket Seed and Tristan Stevens (sponsored by 139 Motorsport); 65cc – Caden Weise (sponsored by Solid Pave); 50cc – Aiden Retief (sponsored by KTM PE), Kyle Pienaar; Kyle Brunette (sponsored by The Rocket Seed) will be giving it all for that winning spot. Connor Alcock (sponsored by Rencor) will be representing Rover in the MX Open Support. Kelly Benn will be competing in the ladies class and Andre Swart in MX 3. MX 2 will be an exciting race with local riders Tristan Purdon and Keegan Hickson-Mahony. Tristan Purdon will also be a highlight favourite in the MX 1 class
Expect the best of the best Motocross racing on the 15th the Eastern Cape has to offer and it’s happening at Rover, riders will arrive early and Heat 1 will start at 09:00.

Spectators are encouraged to support all our riders, the day is a family-event with food stalls, coffee stalls, bars with ice-cold drinks, a jumping castle and most importantly exhilarating racing. Entrance is R60pp, kids under 12 enter for free.
