ACA-Party Manifesto: Our hope lies in God Almighty and we declare that the ACA – Party commits itself to install a God fearing leadership.
We submit to the authority of the Bible and our decisions will be based on the Bible principles.(1Sam 8:10–18) (Romans 13:1) (Proverbs 8:15) (Hebrews 10:24) (Matthew 22:21) (Matthew 28:19-20) (Luke 22:25-26) (Peter 2:13-14) (2 Chronicles 7:14)a)The ACA-Party is coupled to all Southern African Nations and their languages who are in agreement with the ACA-Party and its aspirations.b)The ACA-Party is in alliance with all Christian Churches and several cultural groups in Southern Africa.c)The MAIN purpose, aspiration, approach and value system of the ACA-Party in a continuously changing climate is to make use of ALL the available options to obtain constitutional freedom and political self determination for all South Africans, with a contented, free and independent South African nation. The approach of the ACA-Party is dynamic, co-operative and integrated, with a value system based on high, ethical religious norms.
CHANGE FOR THE GOOD.
The world keeps on changing, which makes it necessary for us to change in order for us to survive in our environment. It’s not too late change our course. We can still make a huge, huge difference.As South Africans many of us need to change – change for the Better and the Good. Repent, because if you are moving in the wrong direction, you urgently need to make a 180° u-turn. Yes, together we can work towards a better future. Let’s all take hands and stand together as South African Christians. We’ll only be able to build a positive and better future for ourselves and our children, provided we can unite and stand together. The only way we can progress will be when we measure our progress by the Word and Will of God.
We are determined to never compromise on the Christian, moral values of the ACA-Party.
The ACA – Party believes that all the people in South Africa can live life to the fullest, without any poverty and crime and with a good health system for everyone. We envisage free schooling for our children up to Grade 12 or to the age of 18 years.The family is the cornerstone of the nation. The ACA – Party will install more support systems to assist any family in need. In order for us to build a nation we are proud of we need every father, mother and child to believe in the future.
Marriage is a sacrament instituted by God, as a covenant relationship between a Man and a Woman. We oppose the demands and rights of homosexual and lesbian groups to recognise homosexual “marriages” and adoption of children. Christ Jesus died on the cross for forgiveness for all of us. God is there for everyone. You have a choice to decide whether you are ready to reach out to Him. Are you ready?
Elderly people are a nation’s treasure. The ACA-Party will commit to increasing the monthly welfare amount for elderly people without an income.
Children have a right to education, recreational facilities, adequate nutrition, proper shelter, peace and good health. To flourish and grow and to reach their full potential, children need an environment in which they can play and learn, explore and laugh, build friendships and be loved and cared for.
There is a gap between the middle-class public schools and the poorer schools in certain areas. Our children are frustrated by the education system and it has been found that South Africa has one of the worst educational systems in the world.
It is our parental right to decide the religious direction of education, the cultural context and the chosen language of instruction of a child. The ACA-Party policy is to achieve an educated society nurturing a citizenship equipped with the tools to become proficient in adding value to their land. The ACA-Party education system demands a rigorous scientific curriculum that is Christian based, with highly educated teachers, with the right of parents to advise on their children’s education. The ACA-Party will also require all schools whether private or public (state), to exercise high educational standards to offer each child the opportunity of a good education irrespective of school of choice – including home Schooling. Sex education is the responsibility of parents. As such, parents should also have authority concerning the appointment of teachers.
The ACA-Party will:
Concentrate on retaining skilled and experienced teachers through better compensation on the basis of merit, not quotas or political alignment, with fix school work hours.
Prioritise access to early childhood development.
Finance schools through State resources and focus on basic skills of reading, writing and numeracy, strengthened by school governing bodies.
Provide free education for all learners until Grade 12 or max until the age of 18 years.
Provide one education plan for all schools in South Africa, with the same exams for all learners at year-end.-Ensure that examinations conform to an acceptable national and international standard.-Ensure that school inspectors are re-instated to monitor the standard of teaching.(Audit)-Re-open and equip training colleges and promote teaching as a profession.
Re-instate special schools to provide education for certain types of disability. (Grade R)-Empower educators to deal with undisciplined and disruptive children through inter alia, corporal correction.-Introduce diversion programmes for youth at risk, taking them out of their damaging home environments and allowing them to learn valuable skills.-Introduce dedicated remedial schools for disruptive learners.-Remove gangsterism, weapons, drugs and alcohol from schools.
CREATION AND THE ECONOMY
Protection of job opportunities is of critical importance. Illegal immigrants deprive many South Africans of job opportunities. Strict deportation actions to future designated refugee camps situated on the South African borders have to be implemented, in conjunction with, and overseen by International Peace Corps and Health Care Services.
(Matt 6:24) (Matt 6:33-34) (Hos 4:6) (1 Tim 5:8) (1 Tim 6:10) (Isaiah 3:21-22) (Isaiah 59:12) (Ps 66.18) (Mal 3:8-12) (Prov 3:9-10) (Gal 6:7-8) (Luke 6:37-38) (2 Cor 9:7) (Deut 16:16-17) (Matt 5:23-24) (Mark 12:42-43) (Matt 19:21) (Mark 10:21) (Eph 4:28) (James 4:2-3) (Matt 5:11) (Luke 11:9-13) (Luke 16:10-13) (Prov 3:5-6) (Heb 11:6) (Jer 9:23-24) (Prov 3:5-6) (Prov 12:9) (Prov 13:7) (Prov 22-7) (Rom 13:8) (James 4:7) (Gen 22:12) (Gal 6:7-8) (Rom 13:8) (Isaiah 5:13) (Heb 5:14) (Tit 1:7-9) (1Cor 4:1) (1 Pet 4:10) (Luke 12:42) (Luke 16:1) (Rom 16:23) (Gal 4:1-2) (Mat 20.8) (Mat 25:14) (Mat 25:21) (Mat 25:26-30) (Ps 50:10-12) (Hag 2:8) (Joh 10:10) (Mat 7:11) (Mat 7:11) (Ps 35:27) (Ps 73:3) (Eph 5:17) (2 Tim 3:16-17) (Rom 1:20) (Gen 1:11) (Gal 6:7) (Ps 126:5-6) (Prov 11:18) (Isaiah 32:20) (Hos 10:12) (Gal 7:8) (Job 4:8) (Prov 6:12-15) (Prov 16.28) (Prov 22:8) (Hos 8:7) (Gal 6:8) (Jer 12:13) (Prov 18:20) (Prov 18:21) (Phil 4:6) (Matt 6:31-33) (Prov 10:22) (Prov 12:14) (1 Sam 15:22) (Mark 10:29-30) (Matt 13:8) (Gen 4:12) (Deut 28:18) (Lev 26:14-16) (Micah 6:13-15) (Deut 28:38) (Gen 8:22) (Gal 6:9) (Mark 4:28-29) (Rev 14:15) (Prov 3:9-10) (Ex 20:6) (John 14:15) (Gen 14:20) (Gen 28:22) (Lev 27:30) (Mal 3:10) (Matt 23:23) (Heb 7:8-22) (1 Cor 16:2) (Matt 22:21) (2 Cor 9:6) (2 Cor 9:7) (2 Cor 8:12) (2 Cor 9:10-11) (Matt 5:23-24) (1 Cor 13:3) (Deut 12:6) (2 Chron 31:12) (Ex 22:22) (Deut 14:29) (Deut 24:17, 19-21) (Deut 26:12) (Deut 27:19) (Isaiah 1:17) (Jer 22:3) (Zech 7:10) (Mal 3:5) (Prov 29.7) (Prov 29:14) (Luke 6:20) (Luke 19:8-9) (Joh 13:29) (2 Cor 9:7-9) (James 2:5) and (Ps 41:2-4)
All the Bible verses above teach and help us to understand the way we are supposed to use our income.If we as a nation start to correct our expenditure at home, the rest will follow and our economic status will change accordingly.
We need to become a nation with an ‘added value’ economy instead of one being dominated by the raw material and retail industries. It is no longer acceptable that we export gold and import jewellery. It is also economic foolishness that we export iron and import panels for our vehicles.
We have the resources and we have the people. It is government’s responsibility to ensure that skills are in place to use the wealth of our nation and the ACA-Party commits to doing that.
THE SMALL BUSINESSMAN /WOMAN
Special attention should be given to the needs of small businessmen who at this stage are responsible for the majority of job opportunities. They should be encouraged with program’s specially designed for small businesses. The refining of precious metals and minerals before being exported should be encouraged in the strongest terms. Inflation in excess of 7.5% has to be curtailed by means of strict price control. Interest rates need to be controlled. Monopolies have to be strictly controlled and minimized in favour of fair trade. The national currency has to be rigidly protected against world market fluctuations. Tax payments should be levied on an equal sliding scale to affect all groups of people equally within South Africa. Street vendors need to be properly registered and monitored in order for them to be taxed, similar to all other South Africans.
South Africans must streef to build, with State financial encouragement, an own South African petrol-, diesel-, athenol-, electric-, battery-, sun power engine motors and /or self generating power vehicle’s and auto-parts manufacturers – To Build also for the export market.
SOUTH AFRICAN (SASOL) PETROL AND OTHER PETROLEUM PRODUCTS:
Sasol petroleum products must be sold cheaper than overseas petroleum products OR Sasol petroleum products can be used to upgrade roads and / or for Toll Road costs.
SAFETY AND SECURITY
In order for safety and security to be properly enforced, sufficiently trained security forces have to be employed. In the absence of such control, an unwanted alternative could develop where people take the law into their own hands, with the potential of equally unwanted forming of self-appointed vigilante groups. A strong, loyal, well-paid and trained, honest and helpful police service is of cardinal importance. A very urgent investigation into the current small-scale war being waged against the farming community, on their own farms, is not only called for, but long overdue. Enforced jail sentences where convicts have to perform genuine, hard labour under strict supervision, will almost certainly act as a strong deterrent, instead of allowing prisoners to sit in cells whiling away their days. Prisoners eligible for enforced hard labour would typically those convicted of the most serious offences like murder, rape, assault causing grievous bodily harm and hi-jacking.
GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS AND ASSETS
State assets are to be sold – but, not to foreign entities. Any money thus generated should be channelled towards housing and education, to the benefit of all currently disadvantaged, with accompanying job creation.
SOCIAL STATE GRANTS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
Social Grants for Young People without doing nothing, is not a good thing.
Young People don’t learn on this way, to get paid for a Job done.
The ACA-Party prefer small grants for learning skills in a controlled Job environment, while learners supervision, must be direct under supervision of a employer / manager / supervisor.
The African Christian Alliance – Afrikaner Christen Alliansie (ACA – Party) respects property ownership and is committed to extend this to as many citizens as possible. The ACA-Party will incrementally provide access to adequate housing for all.
The ACA – Party will:
Promote the development of affordable housing through the provision of community-owned self-help schemes: (Helpmekaar Schemes)
Apply the use of cost-effective technology to provide better quality housing.
Encourage the development of sustainable housing communities with amenities and services such as health, education, socio-economic and recreational facilities.
Focus on rural development to address the problems resulting in urban migration through incentives for industries to relocate to rural areas, and
Review and establish a comprehensive data-base of persons on waiting lists for housing.
Present Hostels to be upgraded and new Hostels to be built for young single, working persons.
New Family Hostels / Flats to be built.
SCARCITY OF WATER
Easy access to the sea is of vital importance. Water can be desalinated and pumped inland. Large areas of agricultural land can be reached and irrigated by means of overhead water tunnelling of the type used in Israel. In addition, work and employment opportunities will be an inevitable outflow of such operations. Wealth will have to be created all over again through diligent work, effective organisation of human resources and innovative application of natural resources. Purified sewage and reclaimed water can be used by for instance, by the Mining and other industries. Technology exists where in extreme cases the already recycled water can be further purified to the extent where it is suitable for domestic use and human consumption. During the rainy season, households should be encouraged to collect water flowing down by for instance, roof downpipes. Through the use of containers and storage tanks, rain water which would normally go to waste, can be collected and used again, at least for irrigation etc. This method would also relieve the burden on Municipalities and will of course, save money.
A well paid and trained Medical Corps, with well equipped hospitals is critically important, and should include Government, as well Private institutions.
AIDS and TB.
Government must fund HIV education programmes provide mixed messages about sex that are counter-productive. (Don’t Condomise but Moralise) The ACA-Party will intensify the fight against HIV/Aids & TB by declaring it a notifiable disease and ensuring routine testing.
The reporting of the above mentioned patients should be made compulsory in order for it to be identified and so that it can be dealt with.
In identified, sufficiently serious cases provision should be made for patients to be isolated.
The ACA-Party will ensure that primary and secondary healthcare will be fully accessible and of an excellent standard.
The ACA-PARTY will
Ensure the provision of clean water and proper sanitation and that basic health and hygiene is taught from primary school level upwards.
Extend the roll-out of antiretroviral treatment and the prevention of mother to child transmission programmes.
Prioritise public awareness campaigns to promote abstinence and fidelity
Focus on efforts to contain and eliminate tuberculosis (TB) with a particular emphasis on extreme and multi-drug resistant TB
Improve public hospital services and ensure better equipped and property remunerated medical staff
By facilitating public-private partnerships ensure that hospital revitalisation is a top priority
Intervene to significantly reduce maternal and child mortality, and
Provide access to medical aid through a national health scheme which will broaden access to health services.
Our physical wellbeing is largely dependent on what we eat, drink and breathe. The ACA-Party therefore supports alternative, renewable sources of energy, adherence to global environmental standards and clean technology.
Abortion is only acceptable in cases where medical evidence of sufficient reason for an abortion has been properly identified and diagnosed, and where the very life of the mother is being threatened by the pregnancy. The only other exception to the rule should be in cases of rape where the necessary charges have been reported to the SAPS and are being investigated. Unless the aforementioned stipulations have been observed and adhered to, the mother as well as the person who performed the operation should be charged with murder. (All other abortions will be de-legalised and treated as a crime equal to murder under the justice system)
Rape Victims would be required to report the cases to the SAPS within forty eight (48) hours, and where official cases have been opened and are being investigated, are to have entirely free access to the best medication and treatment available, which would include councillors and medical personnel who are the best in their respective fields and who can treat them with the utmost respect, dignity and empathy.
Disabilities: The ACA-Party supports the rights of persons with disabilities and should be given full, accurate information about the public services they are entitled to receive, inclusive of good communication, e.g. Braille, large print, and auto-tape services. Provincial departments should strive to ensure that at least 2% of their workforce consists of people with disabilities.
CHRISTIANITY AND THE FREEDOM TO WORSHIP
Christianity and the freedom to worship can be dealt with to counter the attempts at consolidation of religions and beliefs, and the creation of ‘inter-religions’ and absolute acknowledgement of the HOLY TRINITY. (Separate subject.)
POVERTY AND UNEMPLOYMENT:
The The African Christian Alliance – Afrikaner Christen Alliansie (ACA-Party) will reduce poverty and unemployment with sound economic policies. Due to South Africa’s legacy of inequality and an ever-widening gap beween rich and poor, much-needed social gants are necessary in the short-term.
The African Christian Alliance – Afrikaner Christen Alliansie (ACA-Party) thus supports the concept of targeted social interventions designed to reduce poverty for the most vulnerable. We need to ensure that the elderly, particularly the impoverished, who have contributed so much to building our nation, are property cared for through state pensions and social grants. Annual increases to state pensions and grants should cater for increases in costs of living and should not be below inflation.
We will extend child support grants to the age of 18 (in the form of vouchers) linked to specific criteria, such as school attendance, and provide nutritional programmes at schools from pre-school to grade 12. We will also implement a developmental programme in order to reduce long term dependence on social grants.
This programme will include an emphasis on enterpreneurship, skills development and job creation.
The African Christian Alliance – Afrikaner Christen Alliansie (ACA-Party) will:
Support small business developments by facilitating access to financial assistand and mentorship programmes;
Encourage privatisation and labour-intensive initiatives;
Streamline labour legislation to remove obstructions to growth within the framework of fair labour practices;
Increase public sector investments in infrastructure to address the power crises, ports, roads, public transportation, water and sanitation systems;
Encourage the development of a culture of savings, investment, patient building of capital and hard work;
Ensure that economic empowerment results in broader socia-economic upliftment instead of the current culture of entitlement and the enrichment of a small group;
Encourage training and development within industry through grants and tax incentives for apprenticeships, appropriate skills, and labour-intensive practices;
Promote agricultural development to ensure food security, including making small and subsistence farmers commercially viable;
Help South Africa become more competitive in the global economy and encourage fair trade internationally; and
Promote sticter standards of international financial governance to address the devastating affects of the global financial meltdown and ensure that the World Bank and International Monetary Fund are more democratic and transparent.
