Electric Vehicle from Rimac.
The Concept Two is built of carbon fiber but still tips the scales at 1,950 kg. Rimas says that it will corner like its on rails thanks to torque-steering that’s fully independent on each wheel.
And no less a luminary than 2016 Formula One World Champion, Nico Rosberg, is lining up to be the first to drive the Rimac to the magical 400 km/h.
The German–Finnish Formula One racing driver and 2016 Formula One World Champion drove for Williams F1 and Mercedes AMG Petronas under the German flag before retired befor ethe start of the 2017 Formula One season. Rosberg was born in Germany to Finnish former world champion Keke Rosberg and his German wife Sina, he holds dual nationality, and briefly competed for Finland early in his racing career.
Here the former World Champ (in a normally aspirated vehicle) shares his views on the Concept Two at the 2019 Geneva Motorshow:
Next stop for the Concept Two? The New York Auto Show.
Powered by a four-motor powertrain system with 1.914 horsepower and instantly available 2300 Nm of torque, the C_Two accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 1.85 seconds, and reaches 300 kph in 11.8 seconds. The 120 kWh battery capacity enables 550 km of range in WLTP cycle (650 km NEDC).
You can help the quiet revolution along by installing an EV Charging station outside your Guest House, Hotel, Coffee Shop, Restaurant, Shopping Centre or in your forecourt. Contact Straton Electrical for EV Charging Station options.
