The Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber pledges its firm support of the newly-appointed City Manager, Dr Lindiwe Msengana-Ndlela, in her endeavours to create a competitive and sustainable environment in the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropole.
We commend the City Manager’s focus on values, and commit ourselves as an organization to partner toward action, good governance, efficiency, empathy and collaboration. We second Dr Msengana-Ndlela’s belief that it is only through the concerted efforts of all stakeholders and social partners that Nelson Mandela Bay will realize its full potential as the economic engine of the Eastern Cape.
We believe that the appointment of a permanent City Manager brings much-needed stability to the Metropole, and trust that the turnaround strategy of the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro will become a critical priority. “The Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber welcomes the opportunity to engage proactively with the City Manager on issues of concern to the business community, in the interests of building a competitive and sustainable environment in which both business and our citizens can thrive,” says Kevin Hustler, CEO.
