At approximately 3:30 this afternoon a 6 year old boy was run over by a vehicle in Walker Drive, Sherwood (behind Spar).
The driver of the vehicle then accelerated away from the scene leaving the deceased boys’ friends on the scene.
No further details are presently available.
Eye on the Community
Update: According to eye witnesses the vehicle was a blue grey Toyota Corolla. The female suspect is alleged to have stopped her car, dragged the child into the grass on the opposite side of the road and sped away.
